How to install the Lumevre convex mirror

Your mirror arrives with the bracket already attached. All you need is a wall plug and a screw. Hanging it takes about four minutes.

  1. Choose your spot. Hold the mirror against the wall on the desired position to see how it sits. Always check for pipes and cables before you drill or hammer a nail.
  2. Insert a wall plug. Use a wall plug that suits your wall.
  3. Drive in a screw or nail. Leave about 5 mm sticking out.
  4. Hook it on. Hang the bracket on the back of the mirror over the screw and check that it sits securely. Ensure that you have used the actual bracket hole instead of the rim of the convex.

Is my wall suitable?

Choose a wall that can carry the weight of the mirror. If you are unsure what your wall is made of, or whether it can carry the weight, ask a hardware store or a professional before you drill. The mirror is made for indoor use and is not recommended for humid rooms or outdoors.

Which wall plug and screw do I need?

Every wall is different. Plasterboard, brick, concrete and wood each need their own type of plug and screw, which is why we do not include them. A hardware store can advise you on the right fixings for your wall. Tell them the weight of your mirror (see below).

Weight per size

  • 15 cm: approx. 0.5 kg.
  • 25 cm: approx. 1.3 kg.
  • 35 cm: approx. 1.7 kg.

Mention these weights when you ask for advice.
